Ditan Rongkun Center

Designers stick to a cautious attitude towards the history and tradition in every detail during the design from the inner and outer altar walls in Ditan Park. The axis running north and south of the Center covers the entire land, and consists of 18 innovative courtyards in the traditional architectural pattern which form a spatial contrast and transformation through segmentation and linkup, i.e. large versus small, contraction versus enlargement, opening versus enclosure, access versus stop, allowing people to experience the rhythms of the courtyards as well as the transition and sharing area between the public space and the private space.
